STARLUX Airlines is adding a third Philippines destination to its routes, with the launch of daily flights between Taipei and Clark, Philippines, starting August 15. North American travelers can soon fly with ease and style from Los Angeles to Clark – the gateway to northern Philippines and island tourist destinations – via Taipei. Tickets are now officially on sale. STARLUX currently flies to both Manila and Cebu in the Philippines, and 14 other Asian destinations.
Formerly the largest U.S. military base in Asia, Clark has been transformed into what’s now known as the Freeport Zone —an important economic center and tourist destination. Clark has experienced significant economic growth and development in recent years, attracting businesses and investments. It is also an up-and-coming tourist destination, known for its beautiful natural surroundings, including mountains, lakes, and outdoor recreational areas.
In 2022, the United States was the biggest market of international tourists traveling to the Philippines (source Statisica). Today, there are more than four million Filipinos in the US, the third largest Asian group (source US Census).
In addition to offering greater convenience to those heading to the northern Philippines, STARLUX’s premium inflight service will attract more travelers seeking luxury and comfort. Clark is a destination that appeals to both business and leisure travelers.
