RwandAir is scheduled to launch new direct flights to the dazzling French capital of Paris for the first time on June 27, 2023.
The new flights to the ‘City of Light’, will operate three times a week, giving customers easy access to one of Europe’s most stylish and exciting cities, as well connecting France with Kigali, in the heart of Africa.
Flight WB700 departs Kigali each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 12:30 am, arriving at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport at 9:30 am the same morning.
The returning flight WB701 leaves Paris at 9:30 pm each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, arriving at RwandAir’s home hub at 6:00 am the following morning.
Norse Atlantic Airways marked a new era in affordable transatlantic travel between the US and France with the celebration of its inaugural flight from Paris, Charles de Gaulle to New York JFK and from JFK to Charles de Gaulle. The daily direct service commenced on March 26, 2023, providing customers with a quality service onboard modern Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
The launch of this route marks Norse Atlantic’s entry into yet another major international market as the airline continues to provide comfortable and budget-friendly travel options for long-haul flights.
Daily departures from New York to Paris are at 12:30 a.m. EDT, with arrival in Paris at 2:05 p.m. local time. The return flights depart Paris at 8:00 pm local time, and land in NY at 10:15 p.m. EDT.

Daily services between East Midlands, Cardiff and Southampton airports will take flight to Paris Orly.
The East Midlands and Southampton daily services commence on Friday, April 14, 2023, with Cardiff on April 21, 2023, offering a year-round travel to the capital city plus onward Air France connections. This also sees Eastern Airways return to East Midlands as a base carrier adding around 25 crew and engineering roles.
The new Paris Orly service will be available with 72-seat ATR 72 aircraft, the first to be based at East Midlands Airport for Eastern Airways. This will complement the Newquay-Cornwall service which launches on Friday, March 31, 2023 and will act as a catalyst to further new services from the East Midlands hub. Air France will sell seats via an interline agreement developing into full codeshare with Eastern Airways by the end of the year.
Azul Linhas Aéreas has announced the expansion of its international long-haul network and the addition of its 2nd European destination.
Nonstop service from the Sao Paulo – Viracopos hub to Paris Orly airport will begin on April 26, 2023. This will be the first South American destination for Paris Orly and the only nonstop service between the two airports. The service will be flown by Azul’s modern and efficient Airbus A350-900 aircraft with seating in 3 cabins for 334 passengers: 33 in Azul Business, 118 in Azul Economy Extra and 183 in Azul Economy.
With six weekly frequencies, from Wednesday to Monday, flights depart Azul’s Viracopos hub at 23:00 enabling convenient connections from our network all over Brazil with a scheduled arrival time at Paris Orly of 15:30 local. In the return direction the flight departs Orly at 22:15 arriving into Viracopos at 4:45AM local time. On July 31, the flights will be daily.

The aircraft consumes 20% less fuel per seat compared to older generation A330 aircraft.
