Allegiant Air has announced it will pull out of Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport (OWB) on May 29.

The airline cited the nationwide pilot shortage for the tough decision.

Allegiant was operating from OWB to Sanford (near Orlando).

Cape Air will continue to fly from OWB to both Nashville and St. Louis.
