With the arrival of two flights in Europe on June 2, Air Canada has inaugurated two strategic nonstop routes from its Montreal global hub to Europe.
Air Canada’s nonstop, year-round service to Toulouse is the airline’s fourth destination in France and marks the only year-round service between North America and southwestern France, connecting two global aerospace centres, as well as two dynamic francophone cities.
Additionally, Air Canada’s seasonal services from Montreal to Copenhagen complement its year-round services to the Danish capital from Toronto.
Flights to Toulouse are operated on an Airbus A330 aircraft featuring three classes of service.
SAS is continuing to strengthen its offer and to accommodate an increased demand for leisure travel, SAS will now open a new route to Bangkok, Thailand. Following this route expansion travelers will be able to fly direct to Bangkok three times weekly with convenient overnight flights in both directions using the Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
First departure is planned from Copenhagen on October 30, 2023.
As part of the Winter 2023/2024 program, SAS will also continue its three-times weekly services to Tokyo Haneda (HND) and Shanghai (PVG).

Copenhagen-Bangkok will be a winter seasonal route. Note that the route opening is subject to governmental approval.
SAS will operate the Bangkok route with Airbus A350-900 aircraft offering passengers a unique travel experience, this aircraft has a much lower fuel consumption and up to 30 percent lower CO2 emissions than previous comparable aircraft.

Ethiopian Airlines is set to launch a new passenger flight to Copenhagen, Denmark on May 22, 2023. The new flight will be operated five times a week except on Tuesdays and Sundays.
Ethiopian Airlines will deploy its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on the route, with 315 seat arrangement.
Ethiopian first started serving Copenhagen in November 1999 but the flight was suspended about four years later.
