Aeroflot – Airbus and Boeing parts embargo, no problem, send the aircraft to Iran for maintenance

Aeroflot has been trying to keep its Airbus and Boeing fleet in the air despite a western parts embargo (including Airbus and Boeing) due to the illegal invasion of Ukraine by Russia.

Apparently Aeroflot is now sending its western-built aircraft to Iran for maintenance.

According to the flight tracking system Flightradar24, an Airbus A330-300 (RA-73700) flew to Tehran on April 5 and remains there until now, presumably for maintenance.
