Vistara holds off on any new aircraft orders until it is merged into Air India

While Air India is on the verge of a large aircraft order, joint venture of Tata and Singapore Airlines, Vistara, will not place any new aircraft orders while it awaits its regulatory approval to merge with Air India according to Reuters.

However Vistara will not stop adding new international routes to boost its profits according to its CEO.

Vistara will still receive its pending order for 17 new aircraft by the end of 2024, with the total fleet increasing to 70 aircraft.
