Surinam Airway’s first Boeing 737-8Q8 PZ-TCV (msn 30730/ln 2399) entered revenue service on January 23, 2023 in a revised livery.
The company made this announcement:
Surinam Airways is pleased to announce that after the completion of all formalities, its Boeing 737-800 aircraft, registered as PZ-TCV, was allowed to operate its first regional flight from Paramaribo to Curaçao and Aruba v.v. on January 23, 2023.
Since the arrival of this aircraft on December 29, 2022, all parties have worked tirelessly together and recently the end of a successful phasing-in process could be announced.
For the time being, only the route Paramaribo – Curaçao – Aruba will be maintained by this new type because the registration process of the PZ-TCV with the FAA in the USA will in all likelihood be completed in the coming week. After this, the flights to Miami will also be operated with their own plane.
Airhub Airlines will operate flights to Miami in the coming week.
